Asbestos Residential and Commercial Asbestos Testing and Abatement

The proper handling and disposal of asbestos starts with a visual inspection to assess the suspect material, then samples are sent out for testing, and if asbestos fibers are present, we will provide a written evaluation with next course of action.

Unlike many inspectors who just provide testing services, as an environmental consulting firm, we can furnish a comprehensive hygiene report, put a plan of action for abatement together, obtain multiple bids for the removal of the asbestos, manage the abatement process with chosen vendors, and provide post abatement testing to ensure the risk has been mitigated.

Mold Residential and Commercial Mold Testing, Mitigation, and Remediation

Mold is a silent killer and can be the leading causative agent in many health related issues, especially those that have no other clear origin. For those who are immunocompromised it can be the final straw sending them in a downward spiral. All mold is bad mold. Protect your health, and the health of others.

When it comes to mold, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. At Four Brothers we take all mold seriously. Not only can we provide testing services for this harmful bio-agent, we can provide full project management services that include project planning, bid and proposal attainment, help in choosing a mitigation and remediation contractor, as well as post project testing to ensure the job was done to specification.

Any visible mold should be removed, no matter what its color or species. In a healthy building, you don’t have visible mold.

Indoor Air Quality Testing Commercial and Residential IAQ Testing

By the time you go looking for air quality testing services in your home or business, consequences may already be piling up. Poor air quality can lead to a myriad of health problems, some minor, but many can be devastating, even life threatening. Our comprehensive IAQ testing is a broad spectrum analysis that is focused on getting to the truth about the air you breathe.

Our comprehensive commercial and residential IAQ services inspect all HVAC equipment, ductwork and air handling equipment, as well as other equipment that modifies air quality. We also measure air flow and circulation throughout the spaces, monitor temperature and humidity, check carbon monoxide and VOC levels, air sample for mold spores, and look for any other anomalies present in the environment. During our commercial analysis we may also opt for more detailed toxic gas testing as well as oxygen levels. Once testing is complete and the results are final, we will provide a complete reporting of findings with recommendations of next steps.

EPA studies of human exposure to air pollutants indicate that indoor levels of pollutants may be two to five times — and occasionally more than 100 times — higher than outdoor levels. These levels of indoor air pollutants are of particular concern, because most people spend about 90 percent of their time indoors.

Lead Paint Mitigate Human and Corporate Risk

The handling of lead based paint needs to be done in compliance with EPA standards and OSHA requirements. Improper manipulation, or removal of lead paint, whether in residential or commercial buildings, can lead to numerous health issues, some even life threatening. The health of everyone involved including family, staff, and sub contracted employees, is of paramount importance, call Four Brothers today and mitigate your lead based paint, and your risk.

Failure to comply with the EPA’s Lead Renovation, Repair, and Painting Rule as well as OSHA requirements, can prove costly for your company. Ensure you are following lead-safe practices when performing sanding, cutting and demolition of structures which can produce hazardous lead dust.

If an employer is working with paint which contains any amount of lead, including those with less than 0.06%, in such a way that would generate airborne levels to which employees may be exposed, it is the employer’s duty to conduct exposure monitoring

Heavy Metals Lead, Mercury, Arsenic, Chromium, Cadmium & More

Heavy metals can be problematic, and understanding the extent to which everyone involved has been exposed, or whether your project needs to address the presence of these dangerous materials should be left to professionals.

Whether you have a health problem that’s diagnosed with heavy metal exposure, or you need to demolish, renovate or otherwise modify a structure that has a potentially dangerous presence of heavy metals that need to be addressed, Four Brothers can help assess, test, and abate the harmful materials from the environment, complete with reporting, as well as bid and project management.
